Its mysterious glow makes the Malibu® Green Monkey the ideal candidate for one drink to perfect for Halloween.
The Green Monkey inhabits many of the Caribbean islands. According to legend, it was one of these mischevious creatures which caused an island wide, eight hour blackout in Barbados five years ago, on Halloween. It is said to have climbed a light pole, tripping two powerlines in the process. In celebration of the blackout, we light a candle next to the mysterious green of a Malibu® Green Monkey!
DRINK INGREDIENTS:
1 ½ parts Malibu® Tropical Banana
¾ part Melon Liquor
1 ½ parts Sour Mix
1 ½ parts Pineapple Juice
HOW TO MIX THE DRINK:
To concoct this drink, start with an ice-filled glass. Mix in 1-1/2 parts Malibu® Tropical Banana, 3/4 parts melon liqueur, 1-1/2 parts sour mix, and 1-1/2 parts pineapple Juice. Finish with a pineapple slice garnish.
