Major Lazer at Lowlands

4 Oct, 2010 16:10

Sold out six months in advance, Lowlands in the Netherlands was already a huge smash from the get go. When Major Lazer assaults the stage with laptop dancehall, ladders and inflatables, the lucky few thousand who made it go bonkers.

Wrapping up the tour diary is this third installment of behind the scenes shirt-ironing - the ever present, alternate career path to  Wes "Diplo" Pentz' DJ:ing.

What does it take to make it? Great songs help make great shows, but the Major Lazer stage party thrives on stage presence from everyone involved, not least lead dancer and hype man Skerrit Bwoy. A reliable tour manager and conveniently small tech specs make it easier to take the show on the road. We call the Major Lazer show the blueprint for a good night out. (Add Malibu).
